The city of Niš, miraculous and unusual in all respects, has an extremely favourable geographical position. It is located in the fertile Nišava River basin, and is protected by the necks of the proud Suva Planina Mountain, the gentle hills of Seličevica Mountain, the ridges of the Svrljiške Mountains as well as Kalafat Mountain, forming the so-called 130 km long Niš Transversal (long distance hiking tour), which offers nature lovers a magical experience

Niš is a crossroads, because two important road routes pass through it, one for Sofia and Constantinople known as “Via Militaris”, and the other for Thessaloniki better known as “Via Egnatia”.

As a city at an important crossroads, it could not avoid any military campaign, any conquering appetite of the occupiers, so in its millennial existence it was conquered, destroyed and destroyed countless times.

Tour plan:

Day 1: BELGRADE – NIŠ – JELAŠNICA GORGE – NIŠ

Departure at 7:30 a.m. in front of the hotel in Belgrade. Driving on the highway to Niš and further to the Jelašnica Gorge, which is located at the foot of Suva Planina Mountain. Lunch in a traditional restaurant. After lunch, activities in the gorge. Sport climbing (free climbing), abseiling, zip line, crossing the river with a rope system (traverse), and hiking tour through the gorge. The tour lasts an average of four hours and requires a medium level of physical fitness. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Gala dinner. Overnight stay.

Day 2: NIŠ – SHOORING RANGE “MALČA” – SIĆEVO – NIŠ

After breakfast, transfer to the training ground in Malča village. Getting to know the activities that await us: pistol shooting at 10 meters, with 7 bullets, of which 5 are the best results, clay pigeon shooting – 5 pigeons with 5 bullets for the score, tomahawk shooting, 3 attempts and 6 for the score, team building games. Transfer to the winery located in the immediate vicinity of the shooting range. Tour of the winery with wine tasting and a break for lunch. Drive to the village of Sićevo, which offers the most beautiful view of the Sićevo Gorge and the surrounding mountains. After all activities, return to the hotel. Free time. Dinner. Overnight stay.

Day 3: NIŠ SIGHTSEEING TOUR – BELGRADE

Breakfast. Option 1: Sightseeing tour with a visit to the Memorial Complex “12. February”, a concentration camp from the Second World War and Ćele Kula, a cultural monument of exceptional importance. A walk through the city centre: King Milan Square, Fortress of Nis, Jazz museum, Banovina building, Officers house, the oldest part of Niš, and Tinkers Alley-Bohemian quarter. Lunch break. Continuation of the road towards Čegar hill, where the famous battle on Čegar took place. Tour of the monument – a symbol of Serbian military resistance, erected on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the liberation of Niš from the Turks. Option 2: “Indoor games” – we offer you a large selection of indoor games that will further impress you. After all the optional sightseeing and tours, continue the journey to Belgrade. Arrival in Belgrade in the evening. End of program.

It is necessary to take

High sneakers or hiking boots, a few pairs of socks, T-shirts, a hooded waterproof parka, sweatshirt, spare pants, sunglasses, a cap, suntan cream. It’s also recommended to take candy bars, nibbles, refreshing beverages and water. Put everything into a small backpack.

Method of payment

This program is based on at least 8 applied people. If there occurs a change on the monetary market, commodity market and services, if there is not a sufficient number of travellers, the organizer retains the right to correct the price, change or cancel the program at least 5 days before the beginning of the program.
