Sme\u0161ten je naspram bajkovitog poluostrva Pilion, a dru\u0161tvo mu prave Skopelos i Alonisos. Zajedno \u010dine pravi rezervat divlje i slikovite prirode. Skiatos je poznat po svojim prelepim pla\u017eama i tirkiznom moru. Jedna od najlep\u0161ih pla\u017ea u Gr\u010dkoj, \u010duvena pla\u017ea Kukunaries, nalazi se upravo na Skiatosu. Ova pe\u0161\u010dana pla\u017ea sa bujnom borovom \u0161umom jedinstvena je po svojoj lepoti. I ostale pla\u017ee, Megali Ammos, Kanapitsa, Trulos, Ahladia, Banana, Vromonimnos i Lalaria \u010dine boravak na Skiatosu nezaboravnim do\u017eivljajem. Grad Skiatos je izuzetno lep sa velikim brojem mediteranskih uskih uli\u010dica, puno restorana, taverni i barova, prelepom promenadom za \u0161etnju odakle se pru\u017ea divan pogled na poluostrvo Burzi. Iznad grada je \u010duveni Kastro i manastir Evangelistrije, mesto gde su nekada \u017eiveli stanovnici Skiatosa, a danas je to mesto za celodnevni izlet odakle se pru\u017ea fantasti\u010dan pogled na severni deo ostrva. Ve\u010dernji izazak zapo\u010dnite uz koktel ili aperitiv, a zavr\u0161ite ga uz dobro vino i riblje specijalitete u nekoj od bezbrojnih taverni.
