Na pla\u017ei postoji mogu\u0107nost iznajmljivanja suncobrana i le\u017ealjki kao i velika ponuda za bavljenje sportovima na vodi. Puno sunca i prirodnih lepota, dobra snabdevenost, srda\u010dnost i gostoljubivost doma\u0107ina, garancija su za dobar odmor. U Polihronu postoje ambulanta, apoteka, te mno\u0161tvo supermarketa, hotela, taverni, kafi\u0107a, barova, pekara, picerija i rent a car agencija. Od Soluna je udaljen 98km.
\nPolihrono su 650. godine pre nove ere sagradili doseljenici iz Eretrije, jednog od ve\u0107ih Gr\u010dkih polisa, i tada se zvao Neapolis. Grad su uni\u0161tili Huni, a na istom mestu su lokalni sto\u010dari osnovali Polihrono koji je dobio ime po raznobojnom cve\u0107u. Polihrono su uni\u0161tili Turci 1821. godine, ali su ga pre\u017eiveli me\u0161tani ponovo izgradili.
