Nestvarno zlatne peskovite pla\u017ee, u\u017eurbani stari deo grada i no\u0107ni \u017eivot, neki su od epiteta ovog letovali\u0161ta na luci. Ogra\u0111en je sa tri najzna\u010dajnija arhitektonska zdanja \u2013 marinom, dvorcem i lukom, deo koji je poznat kao stari grad. Danas je to najinteresantniji punkt, jer su tu locirani neki od restorana, barova i glavnih ulica za kupovinu. Glavni izvor prihoda jeste turizam, iz tog razloga, posvetila se velika pa\u017enja izgradnji hotela i ostalih sadr\u017eaja, kako bi zadovoljili svoje posetioce. Zato Marmaris vi\u0161e nije uspavani ribarski grad, ve\u0107 raj za turiste. Marmaris kao jedan od najve\u0107ih turisti\u010dkih odredi\u0161ta jugozapadne Turske, predstavlja idealan spoj prirodnih lepota sa akcentom na pla\u017ee, podgorine planina i zelenila i u\u0161u\u0161kanog ljupkog seoskog \u017eivota punog tradicije i obi\u010daja turske kulture.
