After breakfast you will meet your guide in the lobby bar at hotel and start a sightseeing panoramic and walking tour of Belgrade. We visit various city quarters, including New Belgrade on the left bank of the Sava River, the luxurious residential area of Dedinje and the picturesque Old town. Between these visits we will pass a route St. Sava Church, Slavija Square, the Serbian Crown Palace, Belgrade Palace, City hall, the Federal Parliament, Terazije Street, the National Theatre, the National Museum, University and more. A highlight of the tour is our visit to the archaeological and historical site of Belgrade Fortress situated at Kalemegdan. After Belgrade Fortress we will start the walking tour from Knez Mihailova Street and make a close inspection of the following architectural monuments: the National Bank Palace, the ‘Question mark sign’ old tavern, Princess Ljubica’s Residence, the Palace Hotel, Kosancic Crescent with its cobblestone streets conveying the atmosphere of the 19th century, the site of the former National Library whose excavated edifice was destroyed in the World War II. Along the route the guide will give you all the history, and tell you a few interesting stories about the people and events of the 19th century. A visit to the Orthodox Cathedral is a final highlight of the tour. Free time to shop souvenirs and time for lunch break in a traditional Serbian restaurant. Dinner in hotel. Overnight.

After breakfast you will go on a Sremski Karlovci – Petrovaradin – Novi Sad tour. Romantic town of Sremski Karlovci, once a hub of the cultural and political life of the Serbs. You will enjoy a panoramic guided walk of the town center, which features the Baroque ‘Four Lions’ fountain on the main square (1790), a 19th century High school, the Patriarch Palace and the mid-18th century Cathedral church with its fine Renaissance facade and two Baroque belfries. On route to Novi Sad we will visit the famous fortress of Petrovaradin, built in the 17th and 18th centuries, and once called “Gibraltar on the Danube”. This Austrian artillery fortification is situated above the river and represents the second largest structure of its kind preserved in Europe. On the upper town, there are the bastions: Lower Ludwig’s bastion, Upper Ludwig’s bastion, Innocentie’s, Maria Theresa’s, St. Leopold’s and Tsar Joseph’s. Access is possible through the gates of: Ludwig, Leopold, Molinary, Karlo VI and Court gate… Later, you will take a brief panoramic tour of Novi Sad, the capital of Vojvodina. Vibrant walking through city center and along picturesque Dunavska Street. Free time to shop and time for lunch break in a traditional Serbian restaurant. Return to Belgrade. Dinner in hotel. Overnight.

Breakfast. Free day for leisure and exploring the Serbian capital. Descriptions for excursions: Museum tour –   We will visit Museum of History of Yugoslavia, with the Tito’s grave and part of the museum with his presents from all around the world. Extraordinary story about 20^th century and the Communist leader from Yugoslavia. After that we will go to Nikola Tesla Museum and meet the one of the most influenced scientists of the world. We will hear the story of his life, and join the active presentation of his work. Dinner in a traditional restaurant in the bohemian district Skadarlija. Overnight.

Breakfast. Exploring the Danube and Roman sites. Visit to Viminacium, a major city and military camp of the Roman province of Moesia, today Serbia, and the capital of Moesia Superior. It lies on the Roman road Via Militaris. We continue our journy to Golubac fortified town, one of the best preserved medieval towns in Serbia. It is located at the entry of Iron Gate Gorge on the Danube (the biggest gorge in Europe) and it is dated to 14th century. Lunch at ethno-complex on the hill above Danube. At the end of the tour, we will visit Lepenski Vir (Lepen Vhirl), mesolitic archaeological site, the oldest urban settlement in Europe (between 9500/7200-6000 BC). After visiting cultural and historical sites, we leave for Belgrade. We arrive in Belgrade in the evening. Dinner in hotel. Overnight.

After breakfast drive to airport. Departure from Belgrade. End of the program.
